Layers of this sculptural CAVETTO ring in 18k white gold form a sequence of horizontally mounted panels. Among them, a sea-blue Indicolite tucked away. It's ornate nesting rests upon a classic split shank decorated with petite cheniers.
This design was inspired by bismuth crystal formation, a phenomenon observed when the molten metal transforms back into its solid form. Construction of CAVETTO ring is drawn directly from ancient entablatures, a distinctive feature of classical architecture.
Fabrication of this ring requires special preparation of metal surface. To create a texture imitating ancient walls, gold is nearly molten down and filed flat. Each layer is individually formed before mounting.
This ring is made to order, some slight differences in gold texture may occur.
