ABOUT US

Founded in 2019, Agata Karwowska creates fine jewellery by fusing mineral architecture and building tectonics.

Our designs embody both, the organic allure of natural formations and the elegant precision found in man-made structures.

Meet Agata Karwowska, a creative soul gifted with both finance management and the delicate art of jewellery making. This self-taught artist expertly wields brushes and chisels, transitioning seamlessly from the world of numbers to architectural artistry to create inspired, custom jewellery.

Agata's career began in B2B commerce, where she reunited with her best friend, who happened to run a jewellery business. Encouraged by her friend, Agata explored the craft, starting from the basics and gradually refining her skills in the intricate world of silver and semi-precious stones.

In 2020, Agata's dedication helped her get invited to the prestigious British Academy of Jewellery in London. There, she delved deep into the art of jewellery design and manufacture. But she didn't stop there. Agata's passion for learning led her to courses in stone setting and product photography, each new skill adding a new layer of depth to her craft.

After graduating, Agata burnished her skills at Hatton Garden, London's prestigious Jewellery Quarter, working alongside traditional jewellers. Through her time there, she perfected the traditional art of goldsmithing and acquired the appreciation for centuries-old techniques passed down through generations in the industry.

A pivotal moment came in 2021 when Agata was selected for the 'SHINE 2021' event at the Goldsmiths' Centre, shining a spotlight on her talent and dedication. Following this success, she furthered her expertise with courses in jewellery presentation techniques and traditional gouache rendering, mastering the art of bringing her designs to life on paper.

In 2022, she embarked on a research-based MA in Jewellery and Silversmithing at London Metropolitan University, exploring the depths of her craft with academic rigor.

Yet, Agata's inspiration extends beyond the world of jewellery. Rooted in her love for architecture, she finds beauty in the harmonious blend of classical forms and mineral textures. From the grandeur of ancient Rome to the timeless elegance of Greek architecture, Agata draws on these influences to create pieces that resonate with a sense of enduring beauty and logic.

Today, Agata can be found in her home studio in South Oxfordshire, where she continues to weave together the worlds of art and architecture. With gold, silver, and precious gemstones as her palette, she creates pieces that transcend the ordinary, embodying the perfect union of chaos and order, tradition and innovation. As she explores the intricate dance between mineral forms and architectural aesthetics, Agata invites us to see the world through her eyes, where every piece tells a story of beauty, balance, and boundless creativity.
